Our CFHSV community patiently awaited the construction of our current facility for what felt like forever. But finally, in late 2010, it was ready for us to make it our permanent home. At the time, it seemed like more space than we could ever imagine needing. We were ecstatic with our new box and all that it offered our athletes. Plenty of space, full locker rooms, a full kitchen and to top it off, it was clean! Our iconic “H” wall served as the perfect backdrop for any photograph, and our beautiful track made all those running WODs so much better. But with the growth of our CFHSV community came the need for more equipment, which in turn led to less and less space over the years. Unbelievably, by 2014, we realized our once huge facility was somehow shrinking. And by late 2014, we realized that we had to make a tough decision — to move out of the building that we love, and that was designed and constructed solely for CrossFit Huntsville. Tonight, we held our last class in this amazing facility. Over the years, thousands of athletes have graced this building with their effort, leaving their blood, sweat and tears along the way. Our last day at 3228 Leeman Ferry Road was no different. Our CFHSV athletes showed up and showed out, giving it their all one more time before our big move. While we are sad to say goodbye to what has been our home for so many years, we are beyond excited about what the future holds for CFHSV. We truly cannot wait to unveil your new box. Enjoy two days of rest, and get ready to throw down on Saturday! We’ll see you down the road, CFHSV!
